The Palestinian Women’s Organization (AWC) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2007 by a group of Palestinian women. Currently, AWC consists of 103 members. Located in Al-Thouri, Silwan, Jerusalem, AWC is registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior under the number QR319C. The organization operates with 5 full-time staff members and a group of dedicated volunteers. AWC’s highest authority is its board of directors, comprising 7 women with a chairwoman at the helm.
